Have you heard people suggesting that we restrict health care to our older adults because the money would be better spent on youth rather than people who "have seen their better days?" It you haven't you will be. As the economic crisis deepens money spent caring for our older adults will come under close scrutiny.

Valentine's Day is past, but the impact of Cards 4 Kids at Heart will be felt for the rest of the year. Thanks to a great collaborative effort between Desert Ministries, HyVee, and Salem Communications more than 5,000 Valentines were delivered to 50 Omaha-Council Bluffs nursing homes but students, families, organizations and churches.
