Get some friends together, put together gift baskets for nursing home residents, look up "nursing homes" in the yellow pages, call the one closest to you, ask for the activities director, tell her/him you made some gift baskets for their residents for Christmas and when would be a good time to deliver them. That's it!  Many nursing home residents find this time of year to be especially difficult as they have no friends or family.
