Hello and good day. My name is John Rogers. I work for Midwest Sound & Lighting and perform with my band “Acoustic Groove”. I have been a fan of Desert Ministries for several years now. Upon meeting the director, Paul Falkowski, I was immediately taken by his concern for the frail elderly, a cause dear to my heart. Upon volunteering as an escort for D.M.’s wonderful “Christmas in our Hearts” program, I saw up-close and personal how Desert Ministries’ mission truly improves the lives of those served. Desert Ministries’ staff makes each dollar that’s donated get up and do something good for people in need and it merits widespread support.

Desert Ministries is the most effective, efficient and compassionate organization of its kind of which I have knowledge. The mission of recruiting and connecting volunteer visitors with people in nursing homes and assisted living facilities who need visits is just part of a broader mission for most organizations.
