Pairs churches with nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  Consistency is the focus as each church works with one senior care facility in particular, and congregation members pledge to spend at least one year building relationships with senior citizens through shared activities of many varieties.  Ideally, these relationships will grow beyond the bounds of the program to provide a sense of community connectedness.

Volunteers can help to curb the degradation of seniors brought on by loneliness, while elders can realize their own ability to positively impact the lives of those with whom they have contact.  V.A.L.U.E. encourages families of faith to embrace and welcome elderly community members who deserve our honor, respect and love.
