"Nebraska's Day of the Older Person"

October 3, 2007 marks the 8th annual celebration of "Nebraska's Day of the Older Person." It would be a great day for all elderly if all 50 states would declare the first Wednesday of October as their day of the older person.

"A city block dedicated to the care of the elderly."

Bounded by 10th Street, Dorcas Street, Castelar Street and 8th Street, the old St. Joseph Hospital campus has the potential to become a virtual CCRC.
