• Submit an article to the newsletters you read about Nebraska's Day of the Older Person.

• Contact your local newspaper, radio and television stations.

• Write letters to your local and state leaders thanking them for supporting Nebraska's Day of the Older Person.

• Recognize the older members of your faith-community highlighting their contribution to your church, and community.

• Write an article for your church newsletter emphasizing scripture that reveals God's heart for the older person and their role in the faith-community as mentors.

• Emphasize inter-generational programs within your faith community.

• Contact your local newspaper, radio and television stations.

• Write letters to your local and state leaders thanking them for supporting Nebraska's Day of the Older Person.
